THE 8-STEP PROCESS
The FHA ® Genuine(TC100 or Classic) system can only be applied by authorized FHA® dealers specially trained to prepare your home’s surface and apply the coating. This controlled multi-step process ensures that the product is applied appropriately to provide maximum protection and beauty for the life of your home. Here is what the process involves:
1. Inspection
We completely inspect the outside walls of your home for deterioration and suspect area.

2. Trenching
We trench around your home. The trenching will help eliminate foundation decay and will prevent moisture intrusion once The Coolwall® System has been applied.

3. Pressure Washing Your entire house is pressure washed to remove dirt, stains, loose paint, foreign substrates, mold, mildew and algae. Once cleaned, areas in need of patching are revealed.
4. Repair/Patch
Deteriorated areas are patched with specially formulated patching and bonding materials to correct defects and create a sound and uniform surface area.

5. Masking
All doors, windows, landscaping and surface not to be coated are carefully covered to prevent overspray and provide the most professional-looking job possible.

6. Primer Applied
Our thick Coolwall® primer is applied to your home’s exterior. (available in smooth or textured)

7. Finish Coat Applied
The thick Coolwall® Finish Coat is applied last. This finish chemically “fuses” itself to the primer for a second line of defense against the elements. Choose from over 570 Heat Reflective Colors all with Fade Block Protection.

8. TRIM•COTE™ Applied Once the surface is coated, all trim areas are covered with a specially formulated, highly protective trim paint.
